Lisa E. Becker

Lisa Becker is a history enthusiast who brings a unique set of experiences to The Broca Divide. Her focus for years was Irish politics and history, specifically Northern Ireland. She’s been an activist for more than half of her life, participating in grassroots human and civil rights campaigns for most of that time.

She believes that education and dialogue are the most effective and important tools that humanity can use to achieve a lasting unity and peace, and finds life more interesting if she surrounds herself with people who are passionate about learning about not only the ideas they believe in, but the ideas they oppose.

She currently lives in Tempe, Arizona, but has been blessed to live in other amazing places, and in her heart, she calls both San Francisco and Ireland home. She has a 14-year old deaf Sheltie named Keeva, who is way less boring than her description sounds.
